대학납입금의 책정에 영향을 미치는 요인연구

초록
본 연구는 우리나라 4년제 대학의 납입금 책정에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대하여 실증적으로 분석하여 향후 대학당국의 납입금 결정기준으로서 활용될 수 있도록 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 문헌적 연구를 통하여 본 연구에 관련된 이론적 배경과 선행연구를 고찰하였으며, 이어서 실증연구방법으로서 한국사학진흥재단의 홈페이지를 통하여 4년제 사립대학의 실제 재무 및 교육여건 관련 자료를 입수 및 활용하였다. 입수한 자료에 대하여 통계분석을 실시하였는데, 먼저 각 변수들 간의 관계 유의성을 살펴보기 위하여 상관관계분석을 실시하였으며, 이어서 영향력 검증을 위하여 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학 납입금 결정요인으로서 재무지표 요인들에 대한 영향력 여부를 검증하기 위하여 다중회귀분석을 실시하였는데, 대학 납입금에 정(+) 영향을 미치는 재무지표의 요인은 인건비구성비율, 총자산증가율인 것으로 나타났다. 이는 인건비구성비율이 높을수록, 총자산증가율이 높을수록 학생1인당 등록금은 높게 나타남을 의미한다. 또한, 대학 납입금에 부(-) 영향을 미치는 재무부문의 변수는 운영비율, 고정비율인 것으로 나타났다. 이는 운영비율이 낮을수록, 고정비율이 낮을수록 학생1인당 등록금은 높게 나타남을 의미한다. 둘째, 대학 납입금 결정요인으로서 교육여건지표 요인들에 대한 영향력 여부를 검증하기 위하여 다중회귀분석을 실시하였는데, 대학 납입금에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 교육여건지표 요인은 학생1인당교육비, 전임교원1인당학생수, 학생1인당실험실습기자재구입비로 나타났다. 또한, 대학 납입금에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 교육여건지표 요인은 등록금환원율, 학생등록율, 교육기본시설확보율, 교수1인당연구비로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study was conducted for making empirical analysis of factors affecting the determination of university tuition fees, and providing useful information necessary for rational determination of university tuition fee. In order to attain the objective of this study, we reviewed related theories and previous researches through literature review, and empirical study was conducted through real data collection in web cites. And correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed to see the effect of determinants of university tuition fee on the university tuition fee. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, in the results of multiple regression analysis for examining the effect of financial index factors on the determination of tuition fee, all of the their factors except total assets turnover exert a significant influence on the determination of university tuition fee. Second, in the results of multiple regression analysis for examining the effect of educational condition index factors on the determination of tuition fee, all of the their factors except experimental expenditure per a student and lecture coverage ratio of full-time professor exert a significant influence on the determination of university tuition fee.
