현대 패션에 있어서 한국적인 패션 디자인의 조형미

초록
국제화 시대의 패션은 지역과 시대의 경계를 넘나드는 하나의 흐름이다. 흔히 ‘가장 한국적인 것이 세계적인 것’이라는 말은 오늘날의 패션이 하나의 선진 트렌드에 의해서만 창출되지 않음을 의미한다. 따라서 국제적인 스타일에는 국제적 표준에 적합한 시대 언어가 내재되어 있으며, 이러한 코드를 찾아내는 것은 디자인 기획에 있어 중요한 부분이 아닐 수 없다. 그러므로 본 연구는 현대 패션에 있어서 국제적인 시대 언어로 대변될 수 있는 가장 한국적인 패션 디자인의 요소를 찾고자 하였으며, 그 핵심은 국제적 감각을 살린 한국적인 패션 디자인의 미의식과 조형미를 기초로 파악하고자 하였다. 따라서 연구의 범위와 방법은 95년부터 현재까지 국내외 컬렉션의 자료와 문헌을 중심으로 분석하였으며, 연구의 결과 한국적인 패션의 미의식은 한국적인 패션 디자인의 배경을 근거로 하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 한국적인 패션 디자인의 조형미는 소박미, 고아미, 자연미를 토대로 하고 있음도 파악할 수 있었다. 결론적으로, 본 연구를 통해 한국적인 패션 디자인의 조형미는 크게 소박한 소재미, 고아한 형태미, 오행의 색채미로 나누어 이해할 수 있었고, 이러한 한국적인 패션 디자인의 조형미를 국제적인 패션 디자인의 코드로 발전시킨다면 한국의 패션산업의 고부가가치와 한국 패션의 세계화를 이룰 수 있을 것으로 전망되어진다.
Abstract
Fashion in the internationalization era is one flow frequenting the boundaries of area and time. The saying, The most Korean thing is the most global one’, means usually that today’s fashion was not created simply by one advanced trend. Therefore, a language of the times suited to the international standard is included in international styles while finding out such codes is an important part of design planning. Therefore, this research, with modern fashion, hoped to look for the factors of the most Korean fashion designs which can be defended through a language of the international time while the core was understood having esthetic sensitivity and formative esthetics of Korean fashion design utilizing international sense as its foundation. The research result showed that the esthetic sensitivity of Korean fashion had the background of Korean fashion design as its evidence while it could be understood that the formative esthetics of Korean fashion design considered simple, classical, and natural esthetics as its foundation. In conclusion, the formative esthetics of Korean fashion design seen through this research could be understood by being largely divided into esthetics of simple texture, classical form, and five elements of color—the high value added to Korea’s fashion industry and the globalization of Korea’s fashion will be achievable if such formative esthetics of Korean fashion design is developed into the code of international fashion design.
