The installations of the exhibition spaces with the specific theme are configured and installed to suit the purpose of the exhibition. Since most of these exhibition installations are made for the specific purpose of the exhibition, they cannot be recycled but are in general all scrapped. It is therefore proposed to apply the environmental-friendly concept of paper(corrugated cardboard) to be utilized, assembled and dismantled for recycling to overcome the scrapping and recycling problems of the exhibition installations. Exhibition installations are largely composed of the walls, desks and furniture. This paper focuses on the rest chairs among the exhibition assisting installations. The direction of the design development is first of all to use the environmental-friendly material, the corrugated cardboard, but to stay with a single material only. Second, it is to able the assembly to be completed without needing any additional bonding material. Third, it is to able the dismantling in certain sizes for easier recycling. Fourth, it is to select the theme that can be the subject of attention and attraction at the exhibition. The tentative design plan is developed with three themes of deer, lion and puppy dog in easy assemble and disassemble method by utilizing the corrugated cardboard. The vertical strength and durability of the product can withstand the repeated sitting and standing of an adult weighing over 100 kilograms.
