역할에 기초한 입학사정관 전문성 훈련 프로그램
Training Program for Admission Officer Professionalism Based on Their Role

본 연구는 입학사정관의 역할수행에서 요구되는 전문성 확보 방안으로서, 이에 대한 미국의 사례와 국내의 상황을 통해 우리나라 실정에 맞는 ‘입학사정관 전문성 훈련 프로그램’의 주요내용을 제안해 보고자 하였다. 향후 우리나라의 ‘입학사정관 전문성 훈련 프로그램’에 포함될 것으로 기대되는 교육내용으로는 다음과 같은 것들을 제안해 볼 수 있다. 입학사정관의 역할을 가. ‘학생 모집활동’, 나. ‘지원자 평가’, 다. ‘평가결과분석 및 사후관리’로 분류할 때, ‘가’에는 고교와의 연계 강화훈련, 상담기법 훈련, 도덕성 및 윤리성 함양 훈련, 대학간 운영사례 및 경험 공유, 각 대학의 이념과 인재상에 대한 인지 훈련 등이 제안되었다. 또한 ‘나’의 내용으로는 고교 교육과정에 대한 이해, 관련 법률 연수, 해외대학의 평가 시스템에 대한 파견 교육, 평가 메뉴얼 숙지 훈련, 모의평가 훈련 등이 제안되었다. 마지막으로 ‘다’에는 기본적인 통계기법과 통계치에 대한 해석법 익히기, 대학의 장학제도 및 전반적인 학사운영제도 숙지 훈련, 멘토로서의 상담 훈련 등이 제안되었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to suggest counterplans of training for admission officer professional role in korea, on the basis of scanning the curriculum of an 'admission counselor professionals training program' in USA and korea. The prospective training programs for admission officer professional in korea which is expected to be included in the content of the program can be suggested as follows. The role of admission officer can be classified as 가.recruiting, 나.evaluating applicants, 다.analysis of evaluating result and application. ‘가’ includes training for relationship high school and college, training about learning counsel techniques, training for building morality, sharing in institutions' experience about admission each other, training for perception of institutions' goal following, etc. ‘나’ includes understanding about high school curriculum, learning about the law related, send abroad about evaluating applicants, full knowledge about evaluation manual, training for simulated evaluation. ‘다’ includes learning about descriptive statistic and statistic analysis, full knowledge about scholarship and school affairs system, councel training as a mentor.
