ERP시스템 도입기업의 성공적 경영통제 전략

초록
본 연구는 ERP시스템 도입기업을 대상으로 ERP시스템에서 제공하는 과업특성과 관련한 정보의 정도에 따라 어떠한 경영통제 유형을 선택하는 것이 경영성과를 더욱 개선시키는지에 대해 분석하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 분석에 사용된 변수로는 과업특성 변수로 과업분석 가능성과 예외의 수, 경영통제 변수로 행위통제, 결과통제 및 비뇌공학적통제를 사용하였으며, 종속변수인 경영성과로 재무성과와 비재무성과를 사용하였다. 분석결과, ERP시스템 도입기업에 있어 ERP시스템이 제공하는 정보를 통해 과업의 분석 가능성이 높을 경우 결과통제의 사용이 재무성과와 비재무성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 과업과 관련한 예외의 수가 많은 경우에도 결과통제의 사용이 재무성과와 비재무성과에 정(+)의 영향을 주었고, 비뇌공학적 통제의 사용은 비재무성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 ERP시스템이 제공하는 정보를 통해 과업의 분석 가능성이 높지만, 과업 관련 예외의 수도 역시 많을 경우 결과통제를 사용함으로써 재무성과와 비재무성과를 향상시킬 수 있음을 의미한다. 또한 과업의 분석 가능성이 낮을 경우 행위통제를 사용하고, 과업 관련 예외의 수가 많을 경우 비뇌공학적 통제를 사용함으로써 비재무성과를 개선할 수 있음을 보여주고 있어 ERP시스템이 제공하는 과업과 관련한 정보의 상황에 따라 상이한 통제전략이 구사되어야 함을 나타내고 있다.
Abstract
This study sought to examine the effectiveness of conventional result control, behavior control, and non-cybernetic control in setting which varied in terms of the task characteristics of information provided by ERP systems. This study used task analyzability and the number of exceptions encountered in task execution as task characteristics information, and the financial and non-financial performance as business performances. The findings showed that where tasks are highly analyzable, the use of result control is the only variable which significantly affects the financial and non-financial performance, and where tasks are low analyzable, the use of behavior control is the only variable which significantly affects the non-financial performance. And also where many exceptions were encountered, the use of result control significantly affected the financial and non-financial performance and the use of non-cybernetic control significantly affected the non-financial performance, and where few exceptions were encountered, the use of behavior control was the only variable which significantly affects the non-financial performance.
