The law-related teachers’ professionalism has much to do with the level of their students. This study pays much attention to the crisis of law-related education behind the law-related educational movement. There has been a decrease in the number of the students to select “Law and Society” for Korean SAT; the subject has declined in importance in school curriculum; The rate of selecting the subject shows a striking contrast between regular schools and specialized ones. This study focuses as the essential matters on the insufficient professionalism of the teachers who are in charge of law-related education. This study, therefore, tries to search for law-related teachers’ professional development by overall examining teacher training programs and research & associations. The results are as follows: First, various law-related subjects should be included in the curriculum of teacher-training universities. Second, it is urgent to secure professors to take full charge of law-related education at teacher-training universities. Third, it is necessary to develop various teacher-training programs and practice them in the field of education. Fourth, the cooperating system should be established between teacher-training universities, schools, and the related organizations. Finally, younger population of law-related educational research should be secured as well as the organization of more academic associations and their community activities. More research should continue to be done on the professional development and efficiency of the teachers of law-related education. Also, it is necessary to have Korean style of Street Law material development on the level of cultural studies as well as the connection of teacher-training university curriculum and the related organizations.
