대학 생활법 강좌의 현황과 과제

지난 몇 년간 각 대학에서 생활법 관련 강좌가 학생들에게 큰 인기를 얻고 있다. 생활법강좌는 시민생활에서 유용하게 활용할 수 있는 법률 지식을 알기 쉽게 제공하는 강좌를 말한다. 그러나 이러한 호응과는 달리, 각 대학에서 생활법 강좌를 주관하는 법과대학들은 강좌를 내실 있게 운영하기 위한 적절한 조치를 취하고 있지 않다. 그렇다면 이러한 생활법강좌를 보다 내실 있고 효과적으로 운영하기 위해서 어떤 고민이 있어야 할까? 그것은 강좌의 수업목표, 수업내용, 수업방법을 체계적으로 제시하는 모범적인 교육과정의 개발과 대학생활법 강좌가 가지는 의의에 대한 각 대학의 인식제고를 위한 제반활동에 대한 고민이 되어야 할 것이다. 이를 위해 강좌는 법치의식과 법률소비자 주권의식를 기르고, 법에 대한 접근성과 활용성을 향상시킬 수 있는 수업목표를 제시하고, 분쟁에 대한 기본적인 법적 판단능력, 법체계의 기본적인 원리와 구조, 법률정보와 법률문헌에 대한 접근 방법, 전문가와 법기관을 적극적으로 활용하는 방법에 대한 내용을 교육하여야 할 것이다. 그리고 다양한 현장 체험, 다양한 법률전문가의 특강, 교재와 교육프로그램의 개발, 사례의 다양한 활용 등의새로운 교수방법론을 개발해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
In general, law in everyday life course means one of the cultural studies to furnish undergraduates of university with the legal knowledge to be used in civil life. This course has been in favor from last years. And this course is the one of most important sections as law-related education. But in this courses, there are serious problematic topics. First of all, the goal, content of each courses and teaching methods are remarkably different. Solving the problem, a typical and model curriculum must be developed and be offered to each courses above all things. For the present, there is not the model curriculum for law in everyday life course as cultural studies in university. In my thought, unconcern of the university to run the courses gives birth to present situation in the event. Thus, the policies and efforts of university is needed to enhance the understanding about the importance of law in everyday life courses.
