종립학교 내 학생의 종교의 자유 -종교의 자유 침해 여부 검토 및 해결책 모색-

The purpose of this research is to investigate freedom in religion of students in a secondary mission schools in Korea. Through the process of this research, I tried to find out points of problems of obligatory education about religions, and how to solve these problems and protect freedom of religion. To achieve this purpose, We reviewed the case of Gang Ui-Seok which is to try to protect freedom in religion of students in a mission school by themselves for the first time. And we figured meaning and character of freedom in religion clearly, and then examined a possibility of violation of freedom in religion by a mission school. To understand conditions about violation accurately, we divided mission schools into two groups according to right to choice a school by students. In latter of this research, we suggested four ways to protect freedom in religion of students. First, to guarantee the right to choice a school by students, or to give the right to students to select a lesson among several kinds of lessons include a religious lesson. And we proposed a way to change a character of education about religion, not education about 'faith' which is to force to believe specific religion, but education about 'religion' which is to teach about various religions. Finally, and ultimately, we offered to reinforce education of the fundamental rights. With this way, students can understand the importance of their rights, and try to protect them by themselves.
