초록
The objective of this paper is to introduce a case of developing an internet-based course entitled "Learning Investments from A Biblical Perspective", which has been taught at Yeungnam University since the second semester of 2007. This subject explores the principles of investing based on the Bible. It covers investing ranging from short-term financial securities such as CMA and MMF to long-term financial securities such as (corporate and national) bonds and stocks. Also, it investigates socially responsible investing, investing through mutual funds, and eternal investing from a biblical perspective. The development of this course is meaningful in that it allows students to recognize the bible as the source of all knowledge even in investments. Also, the course is expected to motivate students to learn about investments and facilitate the effectiveness of their learning by extracting good investments principles from the bible. According to the results of a survey, more than half of the students taking this course preferred to take courses on-line; universities should take this demand into account when establishing their educational policy.
