초록
The purpose of this study was to understand the effect of employees' person-job fit in foodservice industry upon the customer orientation and organizational commitment and to empirically analyze whether the gender play a moderating role in the causality between the employees' person-job fit, customer orientation and organizational commitment. Based on total 422 samples obtained from the empirical research, this study reviewed reliability and fitness of research model and verified total 3 hypotheses using Amos program. The hypothesized relationships in the model were tested simultaneously by using a structural equation model(SEM). The proposed model provided an adequate fit to the data, χ2 492.697(d.f. 87; p<.001), GFI .858, AFGI .804, NFI .910, CFI .924, RMR .080. SEM resulted that the employees' person-job fit showed a positive significant effect on customer orientation(β=.662; p<.001) and organizational commitment(β=.201; p<.001). Also, customer orientation had a positive significant effect on organizational commitment(β=.513; p<.001). As a result of analyzing the moderating role, the effect of the employees' person-job fit in foodservice industry upon the customer orientation and organizational commitment was moderated by the gender. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.
