디자인전공을 위한 계열기초 교육프로그램에 관한 연구

We have many difficulties of developing system for the basic formative education, especially improvement of an originality, an expression ability, a practical ability and a thinking faculty. But already numerous well-known universities have advanced the fundamental design education programs in United States, Great Britain and the Europe. However, in Korea, the entrance examination system of the Arts and Design University have been problems with the uniformity practical technique and lack of ability for creativity. Therefore we need to find a solution for this problem with new proposal for the basic formative design education on the actual state of affairs in our circumstance. At this point, there are many researches for the entrance examination without the practical test and it would possible to study for an immature student who has want to study in the Arts and design universities in Korea. The fact is this, a creative designer able to get an international competitiveness for their countries powerfully. From this, the aim of the basic formative design education is that, development for the originality training and logical design thinking with various professional programs. Also it respects originality training and in-depth research is more necessary. In order to, in this thesis, I investigated the basic formative education programs and fundamental design curriculums in Korea and abroad universities. What is more important, I researched the assessment of the foundation design education program for the design student who was selected with the open selection system by the D Woman’s university. Also I analyzed of the questionnaire and the interview with the students for the improvement in the new basic formative program for our design course.
