재택근무자를 위한 주거공간 구성에 관한 연구 - 30-40대 기혼여성 재택근무자를 대상으로 -

정보화 시대로 접어들면서 정보통신의 발달로 말미암아 모든 연락사항은 컴퓨터 통신을 이용하면서 가정에서 필요한 시기에 업무를 수행하는 재택근무가 가능하게 되었다. 여성인력의 비중이 증가하는 등의 사회 환경 속에서 재택근무는, 취업 여성 중에서도 특히 가사업무와 자녀 양육 부담이 있는 기혼여성들에게 아이를 돌보면서 일할 수 있는 탄력적인 노동시간의 이용에 도움을 준다. 그러나 동일한 공간에서 생산성을 요하는 업무와 가족의 욕구를 충족시키는 활동이 동시적으로 존재하기 때문에 역할갈등을 불러일으키기 쉽고, 두 역할 모두에 지장을 초래하게 된다. 국내의 현황을 보면 일부 대기업과 중소기업에서 기혼여성을 대상으로 재택근무제를 취하고 있는데, 업무의 효율성도 높일 수 있고 이에 대한 만족도도 높아 앞으로 기혼여성 재택근무자들의 활약이 두드러지게 될 것으로 전망한다. 이러한 흐름에 따라 주거공간의 구성에 있어, 공간 기능의 효율성을 극대화시키기 위해 가변형 공간 계획이 이루어져야 할 것이다. 기혼여성의 경우 일반 재택근무자와는 달리 가사작업도 수행해야 하므로 시스템 키친과 같은 가사공간의 기능적인 공간계획이 이루어져야 한다. 그리고 업무공간에 있어서는 다른 가족 구성원들로부터 방해받지 않도록 프라이버시를 확보하고 기능적인 수납공간을 확보하여 업무능률을 향상시킬 수 있는 공간을 조성해야 한다. 본 연구는 아파트를 대상으로 하였고, 현재 주거공간의 문제점을 해결하고 기혼여성들의 요구에 대응하여 생활만족도를 높일 수 있는 공간을 조성하는 데에 도움이 되고자 한다.
Abstract
The information age that has been brought about by development of information and telecommunication has, in turn, enabled teleworking, by which people perform their work at home using computer communication. With women workforce on the incerease, the teleworking helps married women burdened with housework and childcare to choose their work hours more flexibly. On the other hand, however, having to play two roles to meet job efficiency and to carry out household chores at the same place, they sometimes run into the situation of role conflict. Looking at the current trend in our country, some large and small companies who have adopted teleworking system for married women have seen enhanced job efficiency and are satisfied with this system. So they estimate good outlook for telewoking of married women in the future. Keeping pace with this trend, more flexible space plan should be established to maximize the space efficiency. For married women who, unlike other teleworkers, must take care of housework in parallel with their job, more functional space plan such as system kitchen should be considered. And their job space should be functional enough for them to carry out their job efficiently, keeping their privacy and not being disturbed by other members of their families. This study has been made on the basis of the apartments, and it aims to address problems with the current living space and to help develop the space layout that will bring satisfaction to married women teleworkers.
