ABC 시스템의 도입은 막대한 자원의 투입이 가능한 일정규모 이상의 기업규모와 최고경영층의 적극적인 지원, 벤치마킹, 도입 이후의 종업원에 대한 재교육과 학습 그리고 적절한 수준의 정보시스템 보유와 자동화 수준의 구비가 필수적이다. 이러한 이유로 기업들은 ABC 도입운영의 많은 장점에도 불구하고 도입을 고려중이거나 효과성과 실효성에 대해 의문을 가진 채, 도입을 기피하고 있어 ABC에 관한 연구의 폭이 줄어들고 있음은 물론 일관된 방향성을 가진 연구의 틀을 구축하기가 힘들다. 따라서 본 연구는 국내 ABC 시스템 도입기업 106개 기업을 대상으로 도입기간 및 기업규모 그리고 자동화 수준에 따른 기업의 생산성과의 개선정도를 살펴봄으로써 ABC의 효과성을 살펴보고자 한다. 연구결과, ABC 도입기간이 경과할수록 제품 및 납기성과와 원가성과가 매우 유의한 수준으로 개선되었으며, 자동화 수준의 향상 역시 기업의 원가성과를 매우 높은 수준으로 향상시켰다. 그러나 기업규모에 따른 생산성과의 개선정도는 유의한 결과를 나타내지 못했다. 즉, ABC 시스템의 도입기간이 오래될수록, 기업의 자동화 수준이 높을수록 제품원가의 개선이 무엇보다 월등히 개선됨을 보임으로써 제조기업의 저원가 전략목표를 달성하는데 있어서는 ABC 시스템의 도입은 의미가 있는 것으로 받아들일 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
During 20 years after ABC system introduction, A lot of researches about system introduction were proceeded. But, much researches through system introduction can not get consistent conclusion. Key success factors and organization characteristics for success are not getting consistent conclusion either. It is time to evaluate practice result of ABC to many enterprise in point of time that 20 years pass since system is introduced. Therefore, this research examines improvement degree with productivity by enterprise scale, introduction periods, and automation level according to the domestic 106 companies introduced ABC system. The result is as follows. As introduction periods passed, product delivery date result were improved and cost performance was improved by the automation level's rise. But, improvement with productivity by enterprise scale is not significant. Therefore, It is conceivable that ABC system introduction is meaningful to the achievement of low－cost strategy for manufacture enterprise.
