초록

This paper aims to explore a new model of the Teaching-Learning Process Design for Religious Curriculum. For this purpose, the 7th National Religious Curriculum is analyzed, comparing it with the 6th National Religious Curriculum, in the areas of goals, specific goals, content, and methods. Especially, the aspect of methods is more deeply investigated from the viewpoint of 'learner-centered' education. In this paper, the ARCS model of motivational design is suggested as the new model of the teaching-learning process design for religious curriculum. The ARCS model can contribute to religious curriculum in two ways: (1) The ARCS model can practically apply the motivational design of learning to the instructional design. Therefore, the instructional design can be designed using the ARCS model of motivational design for the 'learner-centered' education. (2) The ARCS model can motivate effective and attractive religious classes. Effective and attractive religious classes provides satisfaction for learners. This paper concludes by suggesting three practical ideas: (1) Religious teachers should survey various models of the teaching-learning process design for achieving successful and effective religious classes. (2) The government should offer opportunities for training religious teachers on the teaching-learning process design. (3) Christian universities should attempt to develop various instructional designs and practices for religious curriculum and should offer opportunities for students to study the teaching-learning process in their disciplines.
