디자인교육 발전을 위한 ‘디자인공예교과교육론’ 에 관한 연구

Efforts to specialize teaching profession and to improve the ability of teachers have been making continuously along with the history of education. Recently as knowledge has sharply increased, jobs get fractioned and knowledge of general people has improved generally, they say that teachers should also have to be more specialized. That assertion propose that both speciality and the content of teaching profession must improve. Therefore, this study would like to present a way forward for Educational Theory of Design Engineering, by documents, data and questionnaires. It is urgent to clarify the character of 'Educational Theory of Design Engineering' and to investigate its major content and teaching skill. Purpose of the next-generation design education is to make creative humans, so this study would like to think about impressions and evaluation of sensitive activities in practical study and life in the content of design education, and to find out a way to resolve any problems of it. Therefore, design education should be a curriculum for next generation to develop their abilities of visual and creative thinking. It also should be an effective guide for potential teachers thanks to its rich student-considered content, so that it may be foundation to nurture the designers recognized in the nation and in the world as well.
