Professional Sports with baseball leading the way which born at America in the 19th century have developed impressively up to this day. Major League Baseball(MLB), National　Football　League(NFL), National　Basket Association(NBA), National Hockey League(NHL) called the 4 professional leagues may be the most representative. Professional sports is gigantic industries that make a large sum of gains going over just entertainment in these days. The development, however, caused trouble. And problems on the labor relations have discussed as a main theme. From the late 1960s to this day, the labor struggles are for the freedom of trade and revenue sharing consistently. An academic study on these problems give prominence to the status of professional sports players. What status did they have legally? What modificaion have the status of professional sports players made modification? Such discussion and tendency have given suggestions to our nation. In this paper, Baseball Exemption in American Professional Leagues is discussed and the process of a rise in position with the freedom of trade and the better paying leading the way is considered. And focused on making clear the legal status of professional sports players.
