The Effect of the Quality of Beauty Art Franchisees on Performance

What’s more important at this point, not peculiarity for only beauty artists any longer such as management issues by fast growth of beauty art franchises and entry into beauty service market by franchise introduction of non-beauty artists in recent, will be the role of an executive who leads and manages organization. According to this, this study aims at raising the role of an executive to beauty artists and furnishing information required to the operation of efficient beauty art franchises by classifying the quality of beauty art franchisees into accomplishment desire, positiveness, educational desire and leadership to make a comparative analysis of executive’s quality in the present beauty art franchise market, and to inquire into important factors of executive’s quality. Collected data were analyzed by SPSS WIN 13.0. To understand general characteristics of those surveyed, frequency analysis was made. To test variables’ reliability, reliability analysis was made and Cronbach’ α was calculated. For a comparative analysis by the quality of franchisees, t-test, One-way ANOVA and χ2 test were made, and Scheffé test was made for post-test. To examine performance by the quality of franchisees, multiple regression analysis was also made. Positive survey was made on national franchisees to analyze total 108 copies excepting questionnaires of insufficient contents among collected questionnaires with 5-point Likert scale. The result of this study showed that the quality of an executive has an effect on management performance and financial performance, which leadership out of qualitative factors of an executive has an effect on management performance, and accomplishment desire, educational desire and leadership have an effect on financial performance. In particular, leadership was an important factor that has an effect on management performance and financial performance.
