기독교 교육이 영성에 미치는 영향 분석

초록
본 논문은 기독교 교육이 영성에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위해 연구된 것이다. 기독교 세계관 형성을 목표로 하는 기독교교육 과목이 영성에 미치는 영향과, 인구통계적 변수에 따라 영성의 차이가 있는지를 검증하는 것이 본 논문의 연구 과제이다. 본 논문은 기독교교육과 영성에 관한 이론적 연구를 근거로, 연구 모형과 가설을 설정하고, 실증분석을 하는 세 부분으로 나누어진다. 기독교교육은 대학예배, 기독교와 삶, 기독교탐사, 애덤앤이브, 기독교 대화 등의 과목들로 구성하였고, 영성은 초월성, 긍정성, 삶의 의미, 열린 마음과 같은 하위 차원으로 분류하여 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 「대학예배」는 초월성, 삶의 의미, 열린 마음의 영성 요인에 영향을 주고, 「기독교탐사」는 초월성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 「기독교와 삶」은 긍정성과 열린 마음의 영성에 영향을 주는 것으로 분석되었다. 영성의 인구통계적 변수에 따른 차이 여부도 검증되었다. 긍정성 요인은 여학생이 남학생 보다 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 영성의 학년별 차이에 있어서는, 초월성 요인이 학년별로 차이가 있었다. 1학년의 영성이 가장 높았고, 학년이 올라갈수록 영성의 평균이 낮아졌다. 초월성과 삶의 의미 영성 차원은 종교에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 특히 무교와 기독교, 기독교와 불교, 무교와 천주교, 기독교와 천주교 사이에서 큰 차이가 있었다. 이러한 결과들은 기독교 교육의 방향성과 전략에 대한 의미있는 함의를 주고 있다고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
This article has two goals. One is to examine the influences of christian education subject targeting formation of christian world view on spirituality. The other is to identify differences between spirituality and demographic variables. This paper consists of three parts roughly: literature review, research framework and hypothesis development, and empirical analysis. The subject of christianity education contains chapel, christian life, chrixplorer, Adam & Eve, and dialogue with christianity. Spirituality also was divided into four dimensions: transcendence, positiveness, meaning of life, and opened mind. The result of this research can be summarized as follow: There are significant influences of chapel on transcendence, meaning of life, and opened mind. Chrixplorer influences on transcendence. Christian Life also impacts on positiveness and opened mind. We also examined the differences between spirituality and demographic variables. There is a significant difference between male and female students in positiveness mean. Transcendence dimension has differences among grades. Transcendence and meaning of life dimension has significant differences according to religion respectively. Especially, there are big differences between irreligion and christianity, christianity and buddhism, irreligion and catholicism, and christianity and catholicism. These results give us some meaningful insights how to develop christianity education curriculum and brings up university students for christian university in the future.
