한의기술 사업화 과정의 재무적 특성에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to investigate the financial influencing factors in the process of commercializing Traditional Korean Medicine(TKM) technology from the viewpoint of economic decision-making, and to verify systematic relationships between those factors. Thus, I have proved interrelation among financial & non-financial characteristics of TKM technology provider and user, promotive conditions and ripple effects by reviewing the literatures on the process of technology commercialization conducted by public research institutes in the nation and using a survey and Structural Equation Model(SEM). The survey was targeted to colleges of oriental medicine(TKM), government funded research institutes, oriental medicine industries and technology transfer institutions. The total of 270 questionnaires were collected, and the 261 valid questionnaires were empirically analyzed. As a result, I have confirmed that financial characteristics of technology provider, non-financial characteristics of technology user and financial & non-financial promotive conditions have positive influence on successful technology commercialization. I have also suggested an inclusive model of TKM technology commercializing process by verifying the positive impact on technological ripple effects and social & economic ripple effects caused by successful technology commercialization. Such research results can be used as basic reference material in policy making of related R&D and technology commercialization, as domestic oriental medicine industries have great growth potential.
