친일반민족행위자재산 조사에 따른 地籍의 역할과 향후과제

This paper is organized with cadastre’s role and future tasks related to the pro-Japanese antinationalist’s property investigation (called it “the investigation” for short). The investigation and the reversion of pro-Japanese antinationalist (PJAN)’s property have been started with the establishment of special law on the investigation of pro-Japanese and antinationalist’s property. They were implemented to realize justice and to build national spirit taking the opportunity of “Project of Finding Ancestor’s Land” organized by the department of cadastre as one of the national projects. The investigation has been processed in the order as follows: ① searching and investigating PJANs; ② constructing their family tree; ③ pre-investigating PJAN’s property; ④ determining the commencement of the investigation and executing the investigation; ⑤ judging its reversion or non-reversion. In the process of the investigation, cadastre has participated by inquiring into the PJAN and its offspring’s land by using the cadastral computing system and doing field-survey. Cadastre’s tasks have taken much weight in the total amount of investigation. This Paper suggests a few further studies such as refinement of cadastral computing data, systematic investigation of national property hidden away, and the formation of public sympathy for the implementation of the cadastral reform project. It is expected that this paper can be helpful to make people realize the importance of cadastral tasks and to assist the development of cadastre.
