기술중심의 부품·소재 중소기업 육성방안-공정거래확립

The purpose of this research is to make recommendations on fostering technology oriented small and medium sized companies in the parts and material industry. It summarized the problems and their solutions commonly identified in various existing research papers. In order to improve their technological competitiveness, first; the best technology in the world should be targeted and developed with sufficient and concentrated government supports, second; companies with a new marketable technology should be assisted in raising necessary capital for mass production, third; fair business environment in which companies can earn enough profits to continue R&D should be maintained. Collaborations and cooperations among large conglomerates and small and medium sized companies are foremost essential in developing successfully marketable technologies. The Korean economic system is often criticized to have been controlled and manipulated by large conglomerates. The fair trade law must be revised to reflect the reality of the Korean business environment so that rights of the small and medium sized companies are protected and they can reap the results of their efforts from technological development.
