최근 법교육에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 청소년에 대한 법교육과 관련하여 법의식에 관한 연구들이 활발히 진행되어왔다. 대부분의 법교육 및 법의식과 관련한 연구에서는 사회경제적 지위를 통제변수나 독립변수로서 사용한 연구가 많았지만 이들 연구에서는 사회경제적 배경이 법의식에 영향을 미치는 영향이 일관되게 나타나지 않았다. 실제 학생의 사회경제적 지위라는 것이 부모의 사회경제적지위이기 때문에, 학생의 법의식에 직접적으로 영향을 주기는 어렵다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사회경제적 배경이 법의식에 실제로 영향을 미치는지를 알아보기 위해 연구를 하였다. 이를 위해 법의식을 구성하는 태도의 요소인 인지, 정서, 행동 중 정서에 해당하는 법적 신뢰감을 종속변수로 두고 부모의 사회경제적배경이 학생의 법적 신뢰감에 미치는 영향을 분석해 보았다. 법에 대한 신뢰를 ‘법적 신뢰감’이라는 용어로 정의하고, 연구를 진행 하였다. 연구 결과 실제로 부모의 사회경제적 배경이 학생의 법적 신뢰감에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 추후 법의식에 대한 연구에서는 사회경제적 배경을 나타내는 지표인 SES의 척도를 좀 더 엄밀하게 적용하거나, 제한적으로 적용하는 것이 필요하다.
Abstract
This paper studies the role of socioeconomic background on Legal Trust,using data from a national sample of high school students in Busan Metropolitan City(N=416)To be specific, this study addressed the following questions. What is the co-relation between socioeconomic background and Legal Trust?In this case, socioeconomic background consists of the parents' educational attainment, income bracket, and occupation. This study defines legal trust as ‘conviction of degree that how feel fair and useful about contents of law institution related to law people related to law'To investigate these hypotheses examinations by likurt scale survey were conducted. SPSS(social science statistical package) was used for data process of questionnaire survey. Correlation analysis multiple regression analysis were used in the main research. The result and the conclusion reached according to the data analysis are as follows:First, socioeconomic background and Legal Trust is uncorrelated. Second, the study proved that socioeconomic background has no influence on Legal Trust.
