중소제조기업의 교육훈련 투자가 기업 성과에 미치는 영향 분석

The purpose of the study was to examine the effects of educational investment in small and medium business in manufacturing industries on their performance and outcomes in terms of financial benefit and labor productivity, organizational innovation, and organizational stability. We analyzed the panel data from corporates' survey of Korea Labor Institute. In the result, the investment of small and medium business increased by whether they had an education department and education practice or not. However, total amount of budget investments for a worker were affected by the size of the corporation. Also, the educational budget and time spent had not directly influenced the organizational performance, organizational stability, and turnover rate. The conclusion of the study implicated that current education and training programs had not much meaningful and signifiant to workers at manufacturing industries and many investments for workplace learning would be remodeled to influence financial outcomes, labor productivity, organizational innovation, and organizational stability. Whereas, educational programs organizational development and superior mangers had impacted on organizational performance. Therefore, the education and training programs for the workers in manufacturing field should be increased in terms of program contents and direction that improve the productivity and performance of organizations in manufacturing industries.
