조직간 관계의 유형 구분에 따른 유형별 특성 및 관계 통제방안에 관한 연구

본 연구는 조직간 관계 유형들, 조직간 학습, 신뢰와 협력과 조직간 관계의 적절한 통제방안들 간의 상호관련성을 실증적으로 검증하였다. 조직간 정보시스템과 전통적인 정보교환 매체의 사용수준과 거래정보 및 경영정보의 교류정도에 근거하여 4가지 조직간 관계 유형들을 분류하였다. 4가지 관계 유형들은 전통적 시장관계, 전자적 동반자 관계, 전략적 제휴관계와 가상 조직군이다. 집락분석 결과, 4가지 관계 유형들과 유사한 조직간 관계 유형들이 나타났다. 그리고 분석 결과에 의하면, 전자적 동반자 관계에 있어서의 조직간 학습, 신뢰와 협력 수준이 전통적 시장관계에서보다 유의하게 높은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 그러나 가상 조직군에서의 학습, 신뢰와 협력 수준이 전략적 제휴관계에서의 수준보다 높다는 것은 일부만 입증되었다. 조직간 관계의 통제방안에 있어서는, 성과 및 행동 통제방안들이 전통적인 시장관계에서보다 전자적 동반자 관계에서 더 많이 사용되는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 관계 통제방안들이 전략적 제휴관계에서보다 가상 조직군에서 훨씬 많이 사용되는 것으로 파악되었다. 이러한 현상은 전자적 조직간 관계(전자적 동반자 관계와 가상 조직군)에서의 높은 조직간 신뢰수준과 관계 통제방안의 사용에 대한 전자적 효과(electronic effects)에 기인한 것으로 판단한다.
Abstract
This study empirically examined the relationships among types of inter-organizational relationships (IORs), degrees of inter-organizational learning, trust and collaboration, and appropriate forms of IORs control devices. Based on the usage levels of inter- organizational information systems (IOSs) and traditional communication media (TCM) as well as the amount of transaction and management information exchanged between trading partners, four types of IORs were identified. The four types are: traditional market relationships, electronic links, strategic alliances, and virtual organizations. The results of cluster analyses represented the forms of IORs that may be similar to the four types of IORs. According to the results of this study, it was found that the levels of inter-organizational learning, trust and cooperation in electronic links are significantly higher than those in traditional market relationships. However, it was incompletely demonstrated that the degrees of inter-organizational learning, trust and collaboration in virtual organizations are significantly higher than those in strategic alliances. The results also showed that the output and behavior control devices are more utilized in electronic links or virtual organizations than in traditional links or strategic alliances.
