와인소비자 유형에 따른 국제주류박람회 서비스품질의 중요도-실행도 연구

본 연구는 주류관련 전시회 참관자들이 인식하는 전시회 서비스 품질에 대한 중요도와 실행도가 어떠한 차이가있는가를 와인소비자 유형에 따라 분석하고 긍극적 으로 이를 통해 주류관련 전시회 서비스 품질 개선을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 목적으로 수행되었다. 이에 본 연구는 국내에서 개최된 ‘2008 서울국제주류박람회’에 참가한 참관자를 대상으로 조사되었다. 전시회 서비스 품질에 대한 중요도와 실행도를 알아보기 위해 중요도-실행도 분석(Importance-Performance Analysis: IPA)을 이용하였고, 분석결과 와인소비자 유형에 따라 참관자들이 인지하고 있는전시회 서비스 품질에 대한 중요도와 실행도는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 예를 들어, 중요도가 높으나 실행도가 낮아 개선이 이루어져야 항목을 살펴보면 와인애호가 유형은 프로그램의 유익성과 전시회장의 쾌적성, 와인초보자 유형은 전시회장의 청결성, 와인문외한 유형은 입장료와 휴게편의시설의 편리성 이라고 응답하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 전시회 마케팅 관련자들에게 전시회 참관을 증대시킬 수 있는 실무적 시사점을 제공할 것이다.
Abstract
This study investigates the participants' perceptions of the importance and performance of wine industry exhibition service quality for improving the quality level of exhibition service according to three different wine consumers. A survey was administrated to participants visiting 'The 6th Seoul International Wines & Spirits EXPO, 2008' in Seoul, COEX,Korea. An Important-Performance Analysis(IPA) was performed according to the three wine consumer groups to determine significant patterns. IPA results showed what each group perceived as important and how well the exhibition service performed to meet expectations. The enclosed study finds, for example, wine aspirants answered that two factor which were important to them were usefulness and cleanliness of the exhibition center but actually the factors performed poorly,for wine newcomers, pleasantness of exhibition center, for wine outsiders, the entrance fee and convenience of rest facilities, indicating the need for improvement of these factors. The article concludes with exhibition marketing and management implications as a suggestion by the study findings.
