초록
The aim is to reinterpret the marriage and divorce of Christians according to the Westminster Confession of Faith. That is, the marriage and divorce of Christians must be dealt with the eschatological perspective. There are two views about the marriage and divorce of Christians in the Westminster Confession of Faith. Firstly, there is a negative view about the marriage and divorce. Christians have to get married or divorced because of adultery. Secondly, there is a positive view about the marriage and divorce. Christians should marry or divorce for the glory of God and the extension of the Kingdom of God. They have to get married for the increase of mankind with a legitimate issue, and of the Church with an holy seed. Also, they have to get married and divorced for persisting in the reformed faith. The positive view about the marriage and divorce belongs to the eschatological perspective. Thus we must focus on the positive view about the marriage and divorce. We will consult Old Testament and New Testament, especially Pauline Epistles(1 Corinthians 7) for interpreting and analyzing the text of the Westminster Confession of Faith.
