유니버셜 디자인을 중심으로 한 공공시설물디자인 가이드라인에 대한 조사

For the safe, comfortable and equal city life, public facilities design guidelines should be considered unspecified individuals as the various users, wheelchairs,senior citizens, children, etc. This study analyzes public facilities design guidelines on the basis of universal design. The subject of study are guard fence, bollard, bus stop shelter, bench, wastebasket, switch box/distribution box, streetlight among the public facilities. Local government have felt the necessity and importance of universal design for the facilities design. The facilities directly concerned in human body were mostly applied universal design principles among the public facilities. The applied level of universal design rules varied according to kind of the facilities and local government. The form or installation of public facilities are needed the concrete application of universal design principles. The change way of thinking is needed public facility design should be started universal design.
