본 연구의 목적은 Blended Learning 전략을 활용한 커뮤니티 기반 문제 중심 학습 모형이 학업성취와 만족에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 대학에서 온라인 교육에 대한 대안적인 학습형태로 보다 학업 성취할 수 있고, 더불어 만족감을 느낄 수 있는 Blended Learning 프로그램 개발이 되고 있다. 그 이유는 Blended Learning에 대한 학업성취도와 만족감이 학생들의 Blended Learning 효과를 증대시켜 주기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 Blended Learning을 수강하는 학생들이 학업성취도와 만족감 개선에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하고자 하였다. 첫째, 학업성취도와 만족감에 영향을 미치는 요인의 영향력을 검증한 결과 시스템 환경과 콘텐츠 내용은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 시스템 환경은 다른 요인에 비해 학업성취도 구축에 강력한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그렇기 때문에 교육 당국에서는 학업성취도 구축에 있어 시스템 환경 측면에 중점을 둔 학업성취도 구축 전략 수립이 요구된다. 또한 Blended Learning에 대한 학업성취도는 만족에 강력한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 남성 측면에서의 가설 검정 결과를 살펴보면, 시스템 환경과 콘텐츠내용이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 학업성취도 역시 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 여성 측면에서의 가설 검정 결과를 살펴보면, 남성과는 달리 시스템 환경은 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 콘텐츠 내용과 지원 서비스는 Blended Learning 학업성취도에 강한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of problem-based learning model utilizing blended learning on students' achievement and satisfaction. Blended learning is emerging as an alternative model for online-learning in recent university education systems. This is because achievement and satisfaction of students can be greatly improved through application of blended learning system. The purpose of this study is find out factors which affect academic achievement and satisfaction towards blended learning. First, with regard to the effects of these academic achievement and satisfaction, the contribution of the system environment, quality of contents, supporting service to the dependent variable can be explained. The factor that attributes influence to the achievement and satisfaction is system environment and quality of contents. Second, in terms of hypothesis testing for males, the system environment and the contents appeared to affect the contents, while academic achievement was also affecting satisfaction. Third, in terms of hypothesis testing for females, the academic achievement was not affected by the system environment while contents and support services were a strong influence.
