자유무역협정(FTA)에 따른 국내통신시장 법․규제 환경변화 연구

In this paper, we have investigated the changes in the laws and regulatory environment in domestic telecom market due to FTA. For this, first of all, we figured out the Korea-U.S and Korea-EU FTA which are expected to affect the most important influence to Korean Market. The Korea-US FTA was signed ahead than Korea-EU FTA. However, Korea-EU FTA is similar to Korea-US FTA. Other FTA, lower openness level than Korea-US FTA, were excluded from analysis. For this reason, our study were focused on Korea-US and Korea-EU FTA. Based on Korea-US and Korea-EU FTA, we were discussed the telecom services regulation, foreign ownership restrictions in basic telecommunication operators, technology standards policy, cross-border supply(or trade), interconnection, etc. In present and in near future, the issues of the cross-border supply(or trade), foreign ownership restrictions in basic telecommunication operators and interconnection are expected to affect a lot in the domestic Laws and regulations. Therefore, the implications were drawn from these three kinds of important issues.
