한식당 실내디자인의 전통표현경향

쏟아지듯 발간되는 간행물과 고도화된 인터넷의 발달은 세계를 하나의 문화권으로 만들어가고 있어 이러한 시기에 우리의 정체성이 담긴 전통을 올바르게 확립하는 것은 중요한 일이다. 따라서 본 연구는, 실내디자인에서 한국의 전통이 가장 많이 표현되고 있는 한식당의 전통표현 경향을 파악하기 위해 문헌과 선행연구논문을 조사하여 전통건축요소와 전통표현 분류방법을 정리하고 현장조사를 통해 한식당의 전통표현경향을 분석하였다. 현장조사를 하며 기와집 한식당과 복합건물내 한식당의 분위기가 대별되는 것을 알게 되어 선행논문들과는 달리 한식당을 두 부류로 분류하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 기와집한식당은 대체적으로 원용방법으로 되었거나 원용방법의 주조 속에 변용방법이 보조로 된 혼용방법으로 되었고, 복합건물 내 한식당은 주로 혼용방법 또는 변형방법, 추상화 방법으로 되었으며 원용방법은 거의 표현되지 않았다. 또한 건물외형의 영향으로 서양식도 표현되고 있었다. 기존의 전통관련 논문들은 전통표현방법을 원용, 변용, 추상화 방법으로 3가지 범주에서 분류하였으나 본 논문에서는 여러 전통표현방법들이 함께 쓰인 혼용방법을 추가하여 4가지로 분류할 것을 제안하였다. 제언으로, 기와집 한식당의 실내디자인은 원용방법으로 하는 것이 바람직하며, 추상화방법은 바람직하지 않고, 서양식은 지양해야할 것으로 사료된다. 복합건물 내 한식당의 실내디자인은 혼용방법이 바람직하며, 변용방법과 추상화방법도 좋은 것으로 사료되며, 원용방법과 서양식은 지양해야 할 방법으로 사료된다. 전통표현과 관련된 실내디자인연구에서 실내건축요소와 관련된 연구는 있으나 장식요소와 관련된 연구가 없어 앞으로 이에 대한 연구가 요구된다.
Abstract
There are many books being published and the growth of internet have lead us into "one cultural atmosphere" rather than "multi cultural atmosphere". In this period, it is important that we study our tradition. In this study, investigated Korean restaurants,books and theses, and arranged elements of traditional architecture and expression of traditional method. Based on the above information analysed a tendency of expression of tradition. After having been to Korean restaurant, could find two different types of interior design. So, divided into two different types and analysed them. Result shows that most of the tile roofed (Kiwha) house restaurants used imitation method and also mixed method. Korean restaurants in complex buildings mostly used mixed method. Transformation method, conceptual method and westernized style were used in some restaurants. Imitation method was rarely used in most restaurants. Including mixed method, suggested four categories of expression rather than others suggested three categories such as imitation method, transformation method, conceptual method. Suggest that imitation method fits the best for Kiwha house, not conceptual method and westernized method. Mixed method best fits interior design of Korean restaurants in complex buildings. Also, transformation method and conceptual method were good which were developed from the original style. Imitation method and westernized method did not fit for good. Among the several studies of expression of Korean tradition in Korean restaurant interior design, there are studies that studied interior architecture elements, but there is no studies which discusses about ornaments. So, such studies are needed.
