Korean tourism has been in the center of interest by the legislators for a long time. However, results have not been very satisfying compare to the interests and efforts shown by the government and legislators. It is In order to realize and maximize the political effectiveness, it is important for us to study the views of administrative branch;where they plan and execute the policies and legislators; who makes crucial decisions to have positive perceptions on tourism branch as well as level of communication in between them. My studies will focus on the perception by the two branches and thereby we can understand their stand point. In addition, I have examined the perceptions of the legislators. By studying the perceptions of the two, the study will be able to analyze the reasons and directions in making the policies. As seen on the survey, we were able to see the consensus by the legislators that they were overwhelmingly in favour of Korean tourism policies. But, they have shown disappointments towards administrative bodies where it plans and execute policies. Legislators argue that the administrative branch is reluctant to set Korean tourism on their priority list and they are not very effective communicators when working with other branches. Through this survey, we were able to find out that legislators were very hospitable towards tourism industries and they have been supportive of further financial and political assistance by the administration and by the parliament.
