서비스디자인 프로세스를 통한 패키지디자인의 PROTOTYPE 개발 연구 -Bio Material의 활용한 패키지 용기 디자인을 중심으로-

Recently, industry paradigm is rapidly changing from products to service, and due to various technologies and development of new material developments, opportunities to provide service are increasingly larger. This involves invisible and complex experiences as the area of design is getting expanded to good experiences and services satisfying human emotion. Studies on concurrent service design with consumption are widely being conducted due to the expansion of purposes, functions, and areas as well as the combination with other fields. From this point of view, this study suggested package container design prototype through service design process, and it aims to use the development of package design with Bio-Material from the perspectⅣe of differentiated service design as a new opportunity to provide good experiences and satisfaction to users. The main method of the first, defined a concept of service design in package design as a theoretical review through literary research. Second, it arranged Bio-Material that will be applied to the case study and dⅣided it. Finally, to draw user needs and opportunities as the case study through the theoretical background, 'Experience based User-centered Design Process' was used as the methodology so the scope of the study was limited and processed to the suggestion of organic potato package container design prototype. This study is meaningful in that it approached by expanding the scope of package design to user-centered service design process. Organic potato package prototype suggestion applying bio-degradable plastic that is Bio Material is hoped to expand the application of new materials and gⅣe opportunities to create service providers and users' new value.
