입학사정관의 직무역량 요구분석

The purpose of this study is to identify the job competency of admission officers in Korean Universities. To do this, firstly, the roles and job competencies of admission officers are thoroughly synthesized and analyzed from the literature review. Based on the results, the Delphi survey with experts was carried out, and the draft of job competency list was determined. In addition, Nominal group technique(NGT) was held in order to identify the job competency list of admission officers. The result of NGT made up for the final job competency list for conducting need analysis with surveying. On the basis of Delphi and NGT results, a questionnaire was developed. As a result, 'ability to select and compose the data for assessment,' 'ability to set standards for assessment,' 'ability to verify the reliability of screening materials and to evaluate them,' 'ability to interview applicants,' 'ability to analyze various methods of college admission,' 'ability to design creative screening considering the right people in each area, ' 'understanding of high school education' were ranked as the top priority of competency. This means that generally, current admission officers have difficulties to demonstrate the top 7 competencies. To overcome these, meaningful opportunities for training and development need to be provided.
