사회적 기업에 관한 비교법적 연구

Nowadays there is a rapid growth of socio-economic initiatives among developed countries. The growth without employment raise public attention to the social enterprises. Social jobs mean the jobs made by NPO(Non Profitable Organization) for the purpose of providing useful services on the realm of social services which are difficult to make profit. In 2007, Korean government enacted the “social enterprise promotion act” to overcome the problem of unemployment and meet the demand of social services. Korean government has the object to make 1000 social enterprises by the year 2012. For that goal government is making every efforts to expand atmosphere favoring for social enterprise. Nation-wide network of NGO(Non Government Organization) may be used to expand concern for social enterprise. This note surveyed the successful social enterprises of developed countries. And legal systems to support the social enterprises in advanced countries were introduced to get the merits for the better system of ours. Even though delayed start of social enterprises compared to European countries, there are many excellent cases with the tradition of Korean culture. In solving the problem of unemployment of young generation social enterprise will be key role in the future. I hope this note would be the starting point for further comparative legal studies concerning to social enterprise.
