30권 1호, 87~120쪽
초록
Both Korean and Japanese law schools are interested in how to nurture legal talents in accordance with their educational ideas by securing fairness, openness and diversity. As described above, translating the ideas into reality involves difficult problems to be predicted. Only enough discussion of educational contents can explain what the law school is all about. As a way of creating environment in which people with excellent and diverse expertise are easily admitted to the law schools, we need to think about opening a night course for those who hope to enter the law schools,or running a long term course for those with full time jobs can attend and complete the course. In addition, employers of those who want to study in the law schools while working should understand and help them because they can acquire legal knowledge and way of thinking in the law schools and then they can perform even better at work. Furthermore, in terms of nurturing legal experts with diverse backgrounds,we need to think about ways for those with jobs or university graduates without law degrees to enter the law schools. When we provide curricula, class contents and methods that can help them to achieve appropriate quality and competence to complete the law schools and then, the law schools will be promoted.
