초록
In spite of notable expansion, corporate e-Learning is facing a big crisis due to client's undistinguishing criticism. The quality of learning and the content design could not be assured by professionals as well as customers. This leads to the dissatisfaction of learners and the poor level of learning effectiveness. This research focused on emotional presence as an alternative solution to the problematic situation. Based on the literature reviews, emotional presence and flow were selected in relation to the quality of learning by predicting the learning outcomes such as satisfaction and academic achievement. 101 employees who completed an e-Learning course participated. The results of the study showed that an emotional presence predicted the level of a satisfaction, and flow mediated between emotional presence and learner satisfaction partially. However emotional presence did not predict academic achievement significantly. The results indicated that to improve learner satisfaction in corporate e-Learning, creative instructional design strategies which may enhance learners' emotional presence and flow should be applied to develop corporate e-Learning contents and services.
