The Effects of Entrepreneurial Orientation on The Business Performance in The Food Service Industry: Focusing on The Mediating Role of Organizational Learning and Market Orientation

In this study, we investigate the effects of entrepreneurial orientation, organizational learning and market orientation on the performance of food service industry. The research model proposed four hypothesis and tested empirically. A total of 196 responses were received from managers of Busan and Gyeongnam area food service industry and analyzed. This exploratory study revealed some important findings about performance of food service industry. The result are as follows. First, entrepreneurial orientation have significantly positive influence on organizational learning. Second, organizational learning have significantly positive market orientation. Third, market orientation have significantly positive firm performance. Fourth, organizational learning and market orientation partially mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and firm performance. Did to manager of food service industry as analysis target used in supporting research by limitation of research. Because is ceilinged in generalization, will need investigation to various category of business in research hereafter.
