통합적 디자인 연구를 위한 디자인 정보분류체계 제안

This study has the objective of modeling the basic structure of the information classification system for design research through identifying the classification status by the graph of classification and analyzing the process in order to strengthen the developing foundation by establishing the design study into an independent field. This research is conducted through literature review and case study. The classification system theory was reviewed, and the comparison of design research classification was performed by synthesizing previous domestic and foreign studies. Next, the classification of the actual study results and a comprehensive analysis of how the results were retrieved were performed by identifying the design deployment status in the graph of the study classification and analyzing through the classification system and each category. Through such progress, the principles and basic structure of the classification system for design research were set and modeled. Through the analysis results, this study set three basic principles of the classification system for design study as follows. First, the hierarchical class structure must be minimized. Secondly, the structure should allow various topics of design study to be linked. Lastly, the notation that could indicate these connection structures should be introduced. Through these following basic principles, this study modeled the basic structure of the classification system by introducing the facet classification of the multi-dimensional structure of classification theory and the analytic-synthetic classification.
