한국 대학의 취업지원역량 평가에 관한 연구 - 참여 대학의 실험적 평가를 중심으로 -
A Study on the Competency Evaluation for Employment Support of the University in Korea

본 연구는 현재 국내 각 대학이 안고 있는 취업지원 역량을 실험적으로 평가함으로써 향후 고학력 노동인력의 취업률 제고를 도모하는 동시에 보다 선진적인 취업인프라를 유도, 구축 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 대학 취업지원 역량 평가를 위해 개발된 평가지표를 국내 13개 대학을 상대로 학교별로 3명의 평가위원이 직접 방문하여 평가하는 실험적 연구방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구에서는 5개 영역, 14개 인증지표, 28개 평가항목을 사용하여 4년제 대학교 8개교, 전문대학 5개교를 대상으로 평가를 진행하였다. 평가결과 전문대학의 경우 운영활동과 성과영역에서 4년제 대학 보다 높았으며, 4년제 대학은 인적자원관리와 고객관리 영역에서 전문대 보다 다소 높은 수준인 것으로 나타났다. 이에 반해 취업지원 서비스 영역은 4년제 대학과 전문대학이 비슷한 수준인 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 개선점도 노출됐다. 4년제 대학과 전문대학의 취업지원에 차이가 있으므로 이들을 단일 평가지표로 평가하고, 그 결과들을 비교하기에는 무리가 있으므로 이후 별도 지표를 보완하여 각각 평가하는 것이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 인증지표 및 평가항목의 충분한 검증으로 지표의 완성도를 제고시켜 대학의 취업지원 인프라에 대한 정확한 평가를 해야 한다는 지적이 도출되었다. 본 연구는 향후 평가지표의 개선과 함께 보다 많은 대학들에 대한 취업지원 역량 평가를 통하여 한국 대학들의 취업지원역량 수준을 장기적으로 높이고자 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is inducing and building more advanced employment infrastructure as well as promoting the improvement of the employment rate of human labor who has high degree of education by evaluating competency for employment support reverted in each domestic university experimentally. The study used experimental research method that 3 appraisal members by each university visit directly and evaluate 13 domestic universities with valuation indicator developed for assessment of competency for employment support of university. The study proceeded the evaluation targeted 8 of four-year-course colleges and 5 of community colleges by using 5 areas, 14 certification indicators and 28 evaluation articles. The result of evaluation showed that community colleges were graded higher than four-year-course colleges in operational activities and outcome area, four-year-course colleges graded higher than community colleges in human resource administration and customer management area. On the contrary, It turned out that four-year-course colleges and community colleges had a similar level in employment support service area. But improvements were also exposed. It shows that because there are differences between four-year-course colleges and community colleges in employment support, evaluating them with a single valuation indicator and comparing the result is difficult. So supplementing additional indicator and evaluating each one is needed in future. The study is aimed for upgrading the level of competency for employment support of universities of Korea in the long term by evaluation of competency for employment support of more universities with improvement of valuation indicator.
