한국에서의 국제적 노동이동의 시기별 특성에 관한 연구: 한국의 해외취업 이출과 이주노동자 이입을 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to identify the period of Extrans(export)/Intrans(import) of migrant workers by the change on the social and economic structure in Korea, to provide the characteristic and the tendency of the time-periods, and to develop the standard pattern on the effects on the migrant labor by the change of Korean capitalism. Followings are the periodic characteristics of Extrans/Intrans. The first stage(1960∼1987): export-expansion stage/non-intrans stage. The second stage (1988∼1997): stagnant-extrans /free-intrans stage. The third stage(1998∼2005): extrans diversification/forming the main agent of intrans. Therefore I can draw conclusions from this research. First the history of extrans/intrans of migrant workers for the overseas employment is closely related with the accumulation of capital in Korea. Second, taking firm root in the part of labor in Korean capitalism, migrant workers can be factors of production. Third, from now, on the number of migrant workers will be absolutely inclined to increase in the long term in Korea. Also, the number of migrant workers who settle in Korea will increase steadily. Confronting low birth period, an aging society, and a highly-educated society, we should regard migrant workers and multi-cultural families as a part of main agents of key industries in Korea society.
