평생교육 진흥사업에 있어서 실무자 실천공동체(CoP)의 성장과 학습역동에 관한 연구

이 연구는 평생교육 업무에 종사하는 평생교육업무 담당자들이 자신들의 업무 현장에서 부딪히는 문제들을 해결하기 위하여 어떻게 실천공동체를 형성하고 있으며, 그 같은 실천공동체 활동을 통하여 어떤 형태의 상호작용을 하며, 학습을 수행하고 이를 통해 성장하고 있는 가를 규명하기 위한 연구이다. 즉, 실무자로 구성된 평생교육 실천공동체의 형성과 학습양태와 학습내용, 상호작용 등을 분석하고자 하였다. 연구문제 해결을 위하여 지자체에서 평생교육 업무를 담당하고 있는 실무자를 대상으로 전화를 통한 심층면접을 실시하였다. 연구결과에 의하면, 평생교육업무 담당자들은 자신의 업무를 잘 수행하고, 직장에서의 다양한 어려움을 해결하기 위하여 다양한 경로로 자발적으로 실천공동체를 형성하고 있다. 실천공동체 구성원은 행정처리와 평생교육 업무추진과 관련된 내용 두 가지를 학습하고 있다. 실천공동체 구성원들은 초기에는 학습자로서의 역할을 수행하고 차츰 교수자료서의 역할을 수행한다. 평생교육 실천공동체는 학습공동체로서의 기능과 유대공동체로서의 기능을 통하여 평생교육 사업이 원활히 추진될 수 있는 기반을 제공하고 있다. 향후 평생교육진흥사업의 실천공동체에 대한 지원이 정책적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다.
Abstract
This research is about development and learning activity on lifelong educator's CoP. To answer the research questions researcher used depth interview research method by telephone with 10 people. The research has shown that lifelong educator's CoP build up member's self determination, there are various types of interactions in the CoP member's learning occur in that interactions, and the contents of learning and member's role in that learning had been changed. The CoP member's learning is consisted of two kind. The one is about the administration skill to drive lifelong education projects. And the other is about the planning and know how to drive the lifelong education project. The role of CoP member's has changed from a recipient of information and learner to sender of information and educator to other member's. This research has shown the CoP in the field of lifelong education is functioning as learning community and human community, too.
