사회과 법교육에서 인권교육내용에 관한 연구 -한ㆍ미 법교육 교재 분석을 중심으로-

The purpose of this study is in terms of law-related education to affirm relationship between law-related education and human rights education, seek the improvement of human rights contents through the analysis of Korean and American law-related education textbook. So far in terms of law-related education there have been researches on civil rights, but have been little researches substantially dealing with contents of human rights. There is critical perspective that law-related education is only law-abidance teaching. Considering these points this study examines relationship between law-related education and human rights education, analyze Korean and American law-related education textbook with standards of analysis. Based on the results of analysis for improving contents of human rights this study is proposed that as follows. First, for substantially dealing with the contents of human rights, it is necessary to adopt the way of section configuration considering not living area but living-related topics. Second, for effectively studying human rights it is necessary to make up systematic text. Third, it is necessary to offer the development of universal human rights and the process, legal challenges etc. Fourth, it is necessary to present topical cases related to human rights. Fifth, for substantially understanding law and human rights, bringing up refinement to improve legal system, it is necessary to develop various learning activities elements.
