재무비율과 회계이익간의 관련성에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 회계정보 이용자들에게 중요한 의미를 갖는 재무비율과 회계정보의 유용성의 관계를 시장을 좀 더 세분화 하여 유가증권시장과 코스닥시장을 구분하여 분석하는데 있으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이익의 질을 재량적 발생액(DA)으로 측정 시 이익의 질은 재무비율 중 수익성비율, 안전성비율, 성장성비율과 관련성을 가지고 있다는 것을 알 수 있으며, 유가증권시장과 코스닥시장을 비교분석한 결과, 코스닥 시장에서 이익의 질인 재량적 발생액과 재무비율의 관련성에 대한 설명력이 더 높게 나타나는 것을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 이익의 질을 이익지속성계수로 측정시 이익의 질은 재무비율 중 성장성비율과만 관련성이 있으며, 설명력 또한 매우 낮게 나타나고 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 대표 재무비율이 아닌 각 재무비율에서의 기타 재무비율과 이익의 질에 대한 관련성을 살펴본 결과 거의 비슷한 결과를 나타내고 있으나 유가증권시장에서는 유동성비율에서 대표비율인 유동비율이 이익의 질과 가장 높은 관련성을 보이고 있으나 유의하지 않게 나타난 반면, 코스닥시장에서는 현금비율이 다른 비율보다 설명력이 가장 높게 나타나고 있으며, 유동비율이 유의하게 나타나는 것을 알 수 있다. 그리고 안정성비율에서도 보면 대표비율인 부채비율이 이익의 질과 관련성이 가장 높게 나타나는 것은 같으나 유동비율이 코스닥시장에서는 이익의 질과 유의하게 나타나는 것을 알 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the relation between financial ratio and the effectiveness of accounting information in the KOSPI and the KOSDAK stock market. The result of this study is as follows. First, as the quality of profit is measured by Discretionary Accruals, the quality of profit is associated with the profitability ratio, the safety ratio, and the growth ratio in the financial ratio. And there is a meaningful relation between Discretionary Accruals and the financial ratio in the KOSDAK stock market. Second, as the quality of profit is measured by Earnings Persistence Factors, only the quality of profit has something to do with growth ratio, but there is a little relation between the quality of profit and growth ratio. Third, the liquidity ratio is closely associated with the quality of profit in KOSPI stock market, but not meaningful. The stability ratio is closely associated with the quality of profit in the KOSDAK stock market and there is a close relation between the current ratio and the quality of profit in the KOSDAK stock market.
