A study on Korean companies’ entry strategies into the Chilean e-commerce market

This study focused on the B2C market of Chile’s e-commerce market as there were limitations to accessing information on the B2B market. Therefore analysis on the B2B market has not been included. Therefore including research on the B2B market will be a way to increase the level of contribution of this study. Although Chile’s e-commerce market does not take up the biggest proportion in the South-Central America region, for companies who wish to enter the South-Central region, the possibility of success in this region can be verified by entering the Chile market. Currently, Chile's e-commerce market is not as active compared to developed countries. However, considering its great growth potential, it can be said that analyzing it will be highly significant. Especially since there is a lack of information on the Chilean e-commerce market, the research results of this paper can provide strategic guidelines to companies that aspire to enter the Chilean market.
