광역 교통시스템의 경제적 효과 분석 : 메콩강 유역 사례 연구

The broad transport network intensifies connectivity of countries of the Mekong region, move between countries, and vitalization of tourism. The broad development of infrastructure brings about improvement of competitiveness, rise of economic efficiency, and market integration through participation of civil parts in the region. The geographical and economic characteristics of the region are examined, and then the economic effect of the broad transport network is analyzed. The problems that has to be synthetically resolved are presented by explaining the economic situation of the region with income and economic indicators, and analyzing the goal and agenda of the three economic corridors of broad transport network; East-West, North-South, Southern Economic Corridor. Asian Development Bank and countries in Mekong region try to make broad transport network which induces energy development, telecommunication network set-up, opening of tourism resources, environment preservation, and human resources development as well as increase of trade and investment. The Cross-Border Transport Agreement of Mekong region and the activity of the Trade Facilitation Working Group are analyzed to find the synergy effect by connecting transport network. The strategy is analyzed to maximize economic effect by establishing broad transport network of the Mekong region.
