생체모방 디자인에 대한 고찰과 사례연구

All industrial designs that we made were made by humans and as we seek for visual satisfaction and physical and mental satisfactions obtained from function, aesthetics and function are like the sides of a coin which cannot be separately considered. As desire for purchase born by material richness with the improvement of income and the development of industrial design according to the changes of times led to an indiscriminate consumption environment, production only for the convenience of living continued without the consideration of the natural environment. This can be said to be even in terms of the environment in which we are living and the communication design can deliver to society is to deliver superior product design through environment. Today, we expect not only the essential value of product design but also the emotional value given according to the product. Design changes with the pursuit for human value and sustainable design as the object of perception, judgment and recognition are drawn. Design should pursue for even spiritual values as well as material values in the products consumers want. The function and technology in product design have close relationships; however, designers do their best to create a new design that can be a sustainable alternative according to the social situations of the times in order to respond to these changes while not stopping at function only. Such studies have to respond to the fast changes and show that such a design is practised throughout the environments, cultures and times, which have importance impacts on product design. Design develops gradually in the process before a product is made and as a part of multiple directions through the process, a study on bio-mimetic design is found to be a seeker of future-oriented design plans.
