입학사정관의 역할과 만족도 변화 비교 연구

The purpose of this study was to propose directionality for admissions officers,whose system was newly introduced in 2007, as professionals of college admission systems by investigating their current job areas and satisfaction levels. A survey was taken with 201 incumbent admissions officers in terms of relations between individual variables and job satisfaction and relations between job performance and job satisfaction. As a result, the job satisfaction level of admissions officers was higher among men(3.72) than women(3.35), those with a doctor's degree(3.73) than those with a master's degree(3.42), and in the non-Seoul metropolitan area(3.70) than the Seoul metropolitan area(3.39). In addition, they increased both in job performance and job satisfaction in 2011 than 2010, which shows that they were settling down as a professional area in college administration. With ongoing institutional supports from the government, admissions officers will be able to make their job areas clearer and establish themselves as professionals dealing with admissions affairs in college.
