학교폭력문제 해결을 위한 법과 인권교육의 방향

It is such a significant matter to overcome the narrowness of the notion of school violence and the insensitivity to it in school society. The question of human rights is also the very important matter to solve. We face the necessity of the systematic education of the human rights and the corresponding laws for the students, the teachers, and the parents, who are all related with the school violence. This study demonstrates the directions of the laws' and the human rights'education required for the students and the teachers through the discussion of analyzing the former school violences and the process of the problem solving. As for the law education matter, it is important to make people recognize that school violence is apparently illegal and have wider view of the notion of school violence and sufficient understanding and trial for the improvement of school violence prevention law. Also, reporting the case of school violence; the guidance teacher's full understanding of the school violence management; the educational effect of the proper guidance of the assailant and the developing of the educational programs for them are all significant issues. In the respect of human rights education, the essential issues are overall understanding of the students' rights; the overcoming of the teacher's prejudice toward the students related; the guarantee for the assailant student's and their parents' practical rights in the problem-solving process; the protection of the students related, and the improvement of the factor of the human rights abuse in the prevention law of school violence.
