장애인 창업자의 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

초록
최근 장애인의 직업 재활부문에서 창업을 통한 경제적 활동은 지역적 접근성의 이점과 경제적 자립 및 일자리 창출을 제공하는 적극적인 방안으로 부각되고 있다. 그 이유는 창업은 장애의 특성에 따른 취약점을 보완할 수 있는 업무 시간의 유연성을 제공하며, 현실적으로 어려운 취업 장벽을 해결할 수 있는 대안으로 제시되고 있기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구는 장애인 창업의 활성화를 위해 장애인 창업자의 특성 파악 및 성과에 미치는 영향요인을 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 장애인창업자들의 심리적 특성, 지식역량, 장애급수, 경력기간, 사회적 지원, 정책지원을 독립변수로 선정하여 경영성과에 미치는 영향관계를 설정하였다. 이를 위해, 장애인기업종합지원센터에 보유된 창업기업리스트에서 판단표본추출하여 장애인 창업자 154명을 설문조사하여 신뢰도분석, 요인분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 장애인창업자의 창업역량인 심리적 특성과 지식역량을 비롯한 창업자의 배경적 요인인 장애급수와 직장경력기간에 따라 경영성과에 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 또한 창업자에 대한 정책적 지원이 경영성과를 높여줌을 확인하였다. 이에 따라, 장애인 창업의 활성화를 위해 정부의 창업지원정책에 대한 확대 및 보다 적극적인 홍보의 필요성이 제기되며, 장애인창업자들의 창업역량을 높이기 위한 경영애로사항 상담 및 컨설팅 등 지원시스템이 요구되어진다.
Abstract
Entrepreneurship provided of the better economic opportunities to people with disabilities. This study analyses the effects of entrepreneurial competence, individual factors, support factors on business performance of people with disabilities. The aim was to examine factors of having influence on startup success of the handicapped. This study has surveyed the persons with disability who start-up business. The data have been collected by questioning 154 persons. This study using reliability test, factor analysis and multi regression. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the entrepreneurial competence(psychological characteristics, skills) had the effects on business performance. Second, individual factors(employment experience, disability grade) the effects on business performance. Third, government support factors have the positive effects on business performance. Based on the results of this study, alternatives for promoting foundation of people with disabilities were proposed. This study provides us with actual condition of founders of people with disabilities and another knowledge about needs for support system of self-employment.
