우리나라 자본시장에 대한 신뢰를 확보하기 위해서는 제시하고 있는 IFRS 로드맵이 계획대로 실현되어야 하고 또한 사회 전체적으로 많은 투자를 필요로 한다. 특히 IFRS의 성공적 도입 및 정착을 위해서는 우선 IFRS관련 규정에 대해 충분한 지식을 습득하는 것이 필요하다. 그리고 기업이 IFRS 도입 프로젝트에 소요되는 비용을 최소화 하며 최대한의 효과를 얻기 위해서는, 현업 담당 인력으로 구성된 프로젝트 팀을 조기에 착수하여 충분한 기간을 가지고 진행하여야 한다. 이 과정에서 감사를 비롯한 모든 기능과 역할이 새로운 환경에서 계속 효과적으로 운영되도록 하고, 기존에 미흡한 부분이 있는 것은 도입 프로젝트 과정에서 함께 개선하는 것도 병행되어야 한다. 한편, IFRS 전환에 따른 우리나라 자본시장과 사회 전반에 미치는 영향 및 긍정적인 효과는 회계정보의 질 향상과 더불어 국가 간 비교가능성이 제고된다는 것이며, 또한 각 국가마다 보고에 대한 규제가 표준화되어 기업의 국제 상장에 대한 부담이 감소되어 자본시장의 국제화를 가속시킬 수 있다는 긍정적인 효과를 가져올 것으로 본다. 따라서 우리나라 기업들이 국제회계기준을 실무에 도입 적용하는 데에 표준화된 로드 맵 모델을 제공함으로써 기업은 회계 시스템 구축에 필요한 인력 감축과 적용 모델 개발에 따른 비용을 절감하고 또한 적용 시기를 단축할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
Abstract
In order to maintain the credibilities in Korea capital markets, IFRS road map, which this paper suggests, should be carried out in a prompt and right schedule with deep concerns . Particularly enough understanding of rules and principles of IFRS would be asked for the successful introduction and application of IFRS in the accounting industry. For the best results with the minimum cost in adoption of IFRS, each company should compose a IFRS task team early and maintain the team for the enough period. The effects of IFRS adoption are improvements of accounting Information level and of possibilities of easy comparison in countries. Another point would be an easy international listing with lower costs, regarding the establishment of standardization with IFRS in many countries. This paper provides IFRS road map to save the costs of IFRS-adoption and to settle it shortly.
